Your visit, explained.

Location

We request device location only after you choose “Use my location” and your browser grants permission. Coordinates are sent to our server to calculate nearby results. We do not store search coordinates in the directory or event counters. You can choose a city without granting location access.

Saved places and sign-in

Saved place IDs stay in your browser's local storage. They are sent to the server when you view saved places. No visitor account is required. Administrator sign-in uses a secure session cookie on HTTPS; it is not used for advertising.

Requests and activity

We maintain aggregate counters for directory views, listing views and outgoing link clicks. These are request counts, not unique visitor profiles or booking records. We do not store IP addresses in these counters. Network providers and security infrastructure may process connection metadata, such as IP addresses, to deliver and protect the website.

Third-party services

Displaying a map sends requests to OpenStreetMap's tile service. Clicking an official website, booking link or Google Maps directions opens that provider's service, which has its own privacy policy.

Corrections

Correction messages are stored for editorial review. Do not include sensitive information or personal contact details. Report a concern through the correction form on the relevant listing.

Optional Google Analytics

If you choose “Allow analytics”, we use Google Analytics 4 to understand page visits, successful searches, listing views, saved-place actions and clicks to business websites, booking pages or directions. Google may process browser and device information, approximate location and Analytics cookies. These measurements do not confirm bookings or purchases.

The Google tag stays off until you allow it. Choose “No thanks” to continue without it, or use “Privacy choices” in the footer to change your choice. We remember your choice in this browser for up to 180 days. Withdrawing consent stops future Analytics collection and removes this site's Analytics cookies; it does not erase data already processed by Google.

We exclude precise coordinates, search text, saved-place lists and correction messages from Analytics events. Page URLs sent to Analytics omit query strings, and referring URLs are reduced to their website origin. Simple campaign labels may be used for attribution. Signed-in administrators and marked acceptance tests are excluded from normal reporting.
